Hyundai is out to explore how we can all be more emotionally intelligent when we’re behind the wheel, with the aim of making our journeys that bit better.
In a world first, Hyundai has created the Driving Emotion Test (DET) in partnership with behavioural psychologist Patrick Fagan from Goldsmiths, University of London. The unique in-car test looks at how the senses impact our emotions when we’re driving and uses facial coding technology, eye tracking analysis, galvanic skin response and a heart rate monitor to provide everyone with their unique DET score.
By understanding our emotions when driving, we can all reduce stress, distraction and frustration, thereby making the driving experience that bit better.
